Director – Pediatric Dental Residency Program                                     2003-present

·        Developed a Pediatric Dental Residency Program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.

·         Responsibilities include preparing six residents for graduation and qualification for certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and supervision of eight faculty. Graduating residents have consistently scored higher than the national average on the outgoing section of the AAPD Inservice Examination

·        Applied for and received a $1.2 million HRSA grant to establish and expand the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.

·        Founded the first private pediatric dental practice in Staten Island, N.Y.

·        Developed and initiated the “Happy Tooth Magic Show” as an educational program geared to young children (2-6 years) to acquaint with dental experience. The program reached over 2000 school children annually. Audiences are taught concepts dealing with dental office experience, the etiology of dental disease, and preventive measures for oral health.
